About Rev. Mandy Carter, Reiki Master Teacher in Springfield, Ohio
Reiki Master Teacher · QHHT® Practitioner · Alliance of Divine Love Minister
Rev. Mandy Carter is the heart of Healing Homes & Hearts. She teaches traditional Usui Reiki Ryoho in the lineage of Frans Stiene, and she offers Reiki, QHHT®, spiritual coaching and Soul Journey Integration at Betty, our historic healing space at 509 S. Fountain Ave in Springfield, Ohio, and online via Zoom. Wherever you are on your path, she meets you where you are.
✧ Her path
A healer who has walked the path herself
Mandy did not study healing from the outside. Her own journey began with navigating generational trauma and a series of profound spiritual awakenings. A pivotal turning point came after the passing of her father, and it led her to both Reiki and QHHT®. She knows this terrain because she has traveled it.
Her Reiki journey began with Holy Fire® Reiki. Her first class was offered online, and she went on to retake Levels I and II and the Master level course in person. She certified at the Master level, completed the Kid Reiki™ and ICRT Animal Reiki Master programs, and taught Usui/Holy Fire® Reiki at her studio in Yellow Springs, Ohio. That chapter remains a meaningful part of her story.
Then a quiet question began to stir. What was Reiki before all of this? What did Mikao Usui actually teach? In 2024 that question led her to Frans Stiene of the International House of Reiki and to Usui Reiki Ryoho, the original Japanese system. She completed her Shinpiden training with Frans Stiene. In her words, she was not walking away from healing. She was walking toward something more grounded, more clear, and more true.
Today Mandy teaches Usui Reiki Ryoho in Springfield, Ohio, at Betty, the beautifully restored historic building at 509 S. Fountain Ave. She and her wife Amanda have brought Healing Homes & Hearts to life there, as a place where every soul belongs. Nearly two decades in real estate also shape her space clearing work, because she understands how energy affects the way a home feels.
“The Reiki I offer is not about fixing you. It is about helping you find yourself.”

Trained in Holy Fire®? You are warmly welcome here.
Nothing you have learned is wasted. Every step of your path has brought you here. Mandy now teaches Usui Reiki Ryoho, and she no longer offers Holy Fire® classes or placements. If you hold a Reiki Master certificate from Holy Fire® or another lineage, she offers a free online transition course through Ki Campus, a gentle bridge into the traditional Japanese system and Shinpiden. It is not about unlearning. It is about remembering.
Holy Fire® is a registered service mark of William Lee Rand.
◇ Her approach
Not fixing you. Helping you find yourself.
Mandy does not send or channel energy. She settles into grounded, open stillness and holds space for connection, so your own healing can unfold. Healing is not something done to you. It is something awakened within you.
Her sessions may feel quieter and more reflective than you expect. Her classes are built around personal practice: the five precepts, meditation and hara awareness, hands-on healing and reiju. As an ordained minister, she holds deep reverence for the sacred without imposing any one spiritual framework. Your beliefs, your language, your path. She meets you there.
